Questions from UAE restaurants
Does DineWise speak Arabic?
Yes. If a guest writes in Arabic, DineWise answers in Arabic. Same with English, and it copes fine when someone switches between the two. It handles more than 12 languages in total.
Does it work with a UAE WhatsApp number?
Yes. It runs on Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform, which works with +971 numbers. We'd suggest a number just for bookings, since a number on the Business Platform can't be used in the WhatsApp app at the same time.
Is VAT included in the price?
No. Prices are in US dollars, and 5% UAE VAT is added on top.
Can it take Iftar, Suhoor and large group bookings?
Yes. It takes the party size, time and any special requests in the chat. If a booking needs someone on your team to decide, it emails you.
Do I have to stop using my current reservation system?
No. DineWise takes bookings over WhatsApp and your website, and it runs alongside whatever system you already use.
Is my guests' data kept private?
Yes. Each restaurant's data is kept separate and never shared with anyone else. Bookings and guest details only show up in your own dashboard.
